Catch what breaks AI-built apps before you launch.

Point Ship Kit at your app and it tells you, in plain English, what is not safe to ship yet. Free, open-source, and built from a portfolio of real production launches.

AI ships your app in a weekend. It does not lock the doors.

Apps built with Lovable, Cursor, Replit and v0 look finished, but they tend to skip the boring safety work. The same few things go wrong again and again:

  • Your database is readable by strangers. Anyone with your web address can read your users' data.
  • Secret keys are left in the code, where anyone can find and abuse them.
  • Your emails go to spam, so sign-ups, receipts and resets never arrive.
  • Nothing tells you when it breaks, so you hear about it from an unhappy customer.
  • Launch-day basics are missing: no link preview, no analytics, no privacy policy.

Ship Kit is the checklist of what to get right, and a tool that reads your project and tells you which of these actually apply to you.

How it works

01

Point it at your app. Ask your AI assistant to run it, or run one command in the terminal.

02

It reads your code (and your live site, if you give it the URL) and tells you what is a real problem, what to double-check, and what is already fine.

03

Fix it, then re-run. Hand the results to your AI to work through, and watch the list shrink.

A plain-English report, on your own computer

Ship Kit writes a small report into your project. Nothing is uploaded.

  • A dashboard you open in your browser, colour-coded: green means already fine, red means fix before launch, amber means worth confirming.
  • A fix-it list for your AI, so Claude, Cursor or Codex can work through the problems for you.
The Ship Kit dashboard: a colour-coded launch-readiness report showing which checks pass, which need a fix, and which are worth verifying, grouped into sections like Security & Access and Findability (SEO).

Who it's for

Founders and builders launching their first app, and the fractional CTOs and advisors who get called in when it is about to go live. You do not need to be technical to use it.

Shipping something soon? Run it through Ship Kit first.

It is free and takes a few minutes. If a red item has you stuck, or you would rather we close the list for you, book a call.
